It cannot be cut or amended once this has happened, as the new internal stresses will become imbalanced and the integrity of the weakened glass will be at risk.

This means that you must be very careful to check you have the right measurements and submit them correctly when placing your order, as the Express Toughening team cannot make any changes after the processing is underway. The same applies if you want specific cut-outs, drilled holes, or corner finishes, which must be completed first.
