We offer a variety of mirror splashback styles with 4 mm6 mm thickness options. Before placing an order, be sure to measure the area carefully, so you can specify the exact width and height measurements you need for your space (allowing a 2 mm tolerance).

You can also upload images to provide an example of the shape and measurements you need, and we’ll work with you to provide the perfect mirror splashback cut to size for your kitchen. This includes the option to add pre-drilled holes for screws, or custom solutions like cut-outs for sockets or hinges.

(Please note, our mirror splashback range is not toughened. This means that you should not use these products directly behind a heat source like a hob, as it may cause the glass to crack and break).

Low Iron Glass Mirror Splashbacks

Express Toughening can create a classic silver mirror splashback – or you could dare to be different with bronze, grey, or even antique mirror splashbacks! The vintage-look aged finish is available for mirror splashbacks in silver, bronze, or grey colour options.

Alternatively, if you would like a standard mirror splashback that really shines, you could choose the low iron option, which has fewer iron deposits. This reduces the slight greenish tint that occurs with standard mirror glass to achieve the best optical clarity.

However, it’s important to note that our mirror glass splashbacks do not undergo the toughening process. Mirror glass is not as heat resistant as toughened glass, so it’s not recommended to install a mirror splashback anywhere exposed to excessive heat that could cause it to crack, such as behind a kitchen hob.

That said, there are plenty of suitable places to add a made-to-measure mirror splashback, such as behind kitchen sinks or countertops or on bathroom walls to provide unique protective panel solutions. Wherever you install them, they’re sure to look fantastic and create a sense of brightness and elegance.

Additionally, you have the choice to order your preferred fixing method at the same time, so you can mount your mirror splashback as soon as it arrives – for example, adhesive to glue the panel to the wall, or a pack of screws, which will also require drilled holes. You can request this when you order, or drill the holes yourself if you have the equipment and experience to do so, as they are not toughened mirrors.

What are the benefits of mirror splashbacks?

Like all of our glass splashbacks, whether you choose a silver mirror or any other style, our mirror splashbacks offer an alternative wall panel design for your kitchen or bathroom. Their highly reflective surface will spread light around the room and provide a strong visual connection throughout the space.

Made from smooth glass, not only do they have a unique aesthetic appeal, but their wipe-clean surface is also extra hygienic. Especially if you choose to add the optional polymer coating when designing your custom mirror splashback, which repels water, deposits, and stains.

With our customisation options, it’s easy to create the perfect fit. Simply measure the height and width you need, then select from the straightforward choices to view the price and add your desired product and quantity to your basket. After confirming your order, it should be delivered in 10–20 working days.

Do you supply toughened mirrors with toughened glass?

We don’t stock toughened mirrors made with toughened heat-resistant glass, but feel free to get in touch if you would like to discuss possible solutions with us.

Our non-toughened mirrors can be installed on kitchen walls, such as behind the sink or counter, but they should not be placed behind a hob – especially a gas hob with an open flame – because they are not as heat-resistant as toughened mirrors.

How do you clean antique mirror splashbacks?

While antique mirror splashbacks have an aged look, you can maintain them in the same way you would care for a classic silver mirror splashback.

This means you can keep the mirror surface clean by wiping dirt away with a microfibre cloth and warm soapy water, then polishing it dry with another clean cloth. Always avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive towels, which could damage the glass and ruin the antique finish.

All of our mirror glass splashback finishes make it easier to create a hygienic space you can show off with pride. Made-to-measure to the perfect width, you won’t have to worry about the walls they’re protecting, which will be kept in good condition behind them.

I’ve used Express Toughening twice now and have been very impressed with the glass they have supplied and also the helpfulness of the staff. The first job was a couple of years ago when they supplied me with a 6mm satin frosted toughened glass door for our shower room. From my measurements they supplied a fabulous door which had the hinge and lock holes cut out and also took into account the out of square measurement of the door frame. It fitted a treat and is stunning to look at.

More recently (late last year) they supplied me with painted toughened glass splash backs (7 items altogether in 6mm glass with the biggest being 2.1 metres long), all cut to my sizes and with numerous switch and socket cut-outs. My local glass supplier said they could not cut out the close together sockets and switches, but Express did and got it spot on!

As with the glass door, the splash backs were delivered to me by Expresses’ own transport and without any problems and quality issues.

After the scary bit of fitting them all the result is faultless and stunning. Thanks go to Alex who helped me with the ordering process and technical aspects of glass splash backs.

4mm toughened glass for greenhouse. Although slightly dubious about ordering from a company I’ve never heard of and not local (300mile away) I’m so glad I took the plunge. A great customer service from Helen and the team from start to finish, clearly there was nothing for me to worry about.

Their website is easy to use and made ordering online a doddle and for those shapes, they don’t have on their website a quick email and rough diagram sorted any issues there. All glass arrived on time well packed and with no breakages.

It’s a company I wouldn’t hesitate to use again and I’d definitely recommend it to others who need quality glass cut to size.
