Balustrade Fittings

Balustrade Fittings Results

When it comes to installing glass balustrades, do you prefer the slimline look of stainless steel glass clamps over baluster posts? At Express Toughening, we have a variety of glass balustrade fixings for you to choose from, with a range of finishes and thicknesses.

Whether they’re for outdoor or indoor use, you’re bound to find the right style and size fittings for your balustrades from our glass clamps and channels below.

Stylish Glass Balustrade Clamps

Using metal clamps is a popular method of securing glass balustrades because of their minimal yet modern and stylish appearance, allowing the sleek glass panels to be the stars of the show. However, it’s important to ensure you select the correct type for your chosen glass thickness.

Some of our glass clamps are suitable for panels that are 8mm–10mm thick, while others will only fit a glass panel that is 10mm–12mm thick.

Additionally, some pieces come with all the necessary parts to complete the fitting, while others may require you to supply your own screws. Depending on the product and parts, the glass panels may also need to be prepared with pre-drilled holes for the fixings.

Remember to always check the product description and technical data to make sure the glass fixings meet your needs before placing an order!

Stainless Steel Balustrade Fixings

As you’ll discover when browsing our collection, most of our glass balustrade clamps are made from stainless steel (either 304 or 316 grade) – though we do also offer aluminium alloy channels for thicker glass panels up to 21.5mm.

You’ll have a choice between a polished finish that gives your fittings a glossy shine, or a brushed satin finish that creates a softer and more subtle look.

There’s also the option of stockier square glass clamps for a distinctive style, or D-shaped glass clamps with an elegant rounded edge for a better flow.

Don’t forget to select the right back for the interface, too – as flat back glass clamps are only suitable for flat posts and apertures, while round back glass clamps will only fit with curved posts and apertures. If you’re joining two panels directly, you’ll need glass-to-glass clamps.

Or, if you’re venturing into the minimalist world of stand-off or offset mounting hardware, which look like small metal buttons and are typically fascia-fixed, you should read through the technical specs for our circular stand-off and offset glass balustrade fixings.

These products are also compatible with designs such as glass partitions and frameless glass structures, and can be used both indoors and outdoors.
